Hope they come up with a good idea for the 2s. Never could get with the 1s. Some shoes go all the way performance, they went all the way with fashion. Find a middle ground where you can imagine at least one other player in the NBA wearing the shoe.

Nike wasn’t going to keep him on converse. They were going to shift him to Nike. They’re going to want one of the league’s biggest stars on their roster.

Nike is a household name and not many people know that Converse is under Nike's umbrella so it makes sense to move a superstar from a sub brand to the main brand. Also Nike needs some fresh faces in their sig lineup.
If you look at the current lineup, it's pretty weak (and IMO also too many sigs but I don't make those decisions).
