Yup. Show me a better '89 released this year.
I know you're on the payroll and all that, but I think sometimes the numbers and business side of things cloud your thinking. It's all a matter of taste, I know. But, how are these "awful" and "worse than the UPS colorway"? Because they won't sell well?
The numbers a shoe moves doesn't equal dope shoe to everyone, my friend. And on the flipside, a dope shoe isn't always going to be one the general public doesn't jump on or have access to. GR, QS or hyperstrike, these are leaps and bounds ahead of any other colorway of Flight 89 that has released this year.
Pretty much, we are saying the same things...
My frustration comes from when Niketalk (in general) wants to call a shoe a "FLOP" when it isn't...
For example, all of the AF1's released this year, everyone wants to act like they aren't selling, when exactly the opposite is true...
OR...
"THEY ARE SELLING OUT EVERYWHERE" like the Kobe 2 or Bakin...which, are ONLY selling in California and along I-95 respectively...and when I say ONLY, I mean only...like, if you took them out of those two places they were be 50% by now...
Someone else posted something about a GR Dunk that "if this were a limited SB" would cause a 1,000 reply post and people would be calling $250 a "steal"...
Basically, Niketalk has become the place were a GR, now matter how hot is "wack" and a limited collaboration, no matter how awful looking is "hot" because everyone won't have them...
In the end, my point is that Niketalk does NOT represent the opinions of the general public (which they express by what they purcahse)...it just represents the opinions of a few that MAY or MAY NOT actually purcahse the shoes that are supposedly "copped"...
