Certainly an extreme dramatization but I liked it.
Teenagers and people in general just assume they're invincible and that somehow when they text and drive they do it safely. Fact is, if you're looking away from the road for a few seconds you're putting yourself and others on the road at risk.
Is sending a message to some random girl while you're driving really worth potentially killing yourself? There's enough things out there that can kill you, and I don't voluntarily put myself in harms way like that. 99% of the time whatever you're texting about can wait the 15 minutes until you stop driving.

More importantly, is it worth the risk of killing someone else? More than anything, I see idiots texting and not paying attention to the road all over the damn place, streets, freeways, and parking lots where pedestrians can get run over.
