My resume's been refined and now I need some cover letter tips. It is the first piece of information employers look at after all.

Any and all help is very much appreciated.

dont send no generic one, tailor it to the position and highlight your skills/exp
i made the mistake of re-using the same ones and changing it a little

but honestly, i dont even know what these employers want anymore...

I made one last week for my resume. I searched Microsoft Word Cover Letter Templates and found one that was specific to the position I was applying for. I didalso refine it and changed some of the sentences to make it sound like it was coming from me instead of it being from the template.

I think you should do the same. Just find a template specific for the type of position you're going for and refine it.

Thanks for the template idea. After writing one, I feel confident that I can write as many as needed.

I'd also like to see some sample cover letters & templates that you guys have used
