Craigslist Returns

A week ago, I bought an office chair on Craigslist and had the buyer deliver to my doorstep for an extra bit of money. At the time of the transaction, I had no qualms with the chair, everything about it was fine. I even took close to 10 minutes inspecting it, sitting in it, etc. A few days ago I texted the seller asking for a refund because the chair is "uncomfortable" and it "gives me back pains." He didn't mention anything about sales being final in his Craigslist posting but thought that it was implied that refunds are available. He responded  no because it gave him 'back pains.'  WTH?  What should I do?

I personally wouldn't give you a refund either.

You purchased the chair, shook hands, and now its yours. Unless you had a written or verbal agreement about refunds.

Put it back on craigslist and try to make a profit
