Yeah there was a new tax law that passed beginning of the year
Certain states now will get charged tax when placing online orders out of state
Not every retailer was enforcing the law right away
But my last few purchase online I got charged tax when I normally didn’t
I know amazon started charging my bro tax on everything
I’m in Illinois which is one of the states included in the new law

I’m sure it will change
When it does I will be very sad

Also funny how government gets to double dip on taxes. Collect on the first sale and then collect again on eBay.

Unfortunately Corps bring the jobs so there are more employees to tax. Lose the Corps, lose the tax revenue. Sum of many must be higher than the lump some from the Corp. Also if the Corp leaves overseas then both parts of the equation are lost. Not saying it's right but it is what I noticed.
