I got this email yesterday from a place I have supported for a while. I have called many times to place an order, and the owner has always been extremely helpful with helping me with sizes (American needle hats are my favorite, but their sizing is often different from production run to production run). The website is certainly primitive, but I am hoping you guys can help this guy out. There is a code for 20% off in the email below.

This letter was an official declaration of who stays and who goes
literally. JC Penney and others with their millions/brick and mortar
surroundings have been given the clearance.. Kind of crazy
that we were an online presence even before mlb.com in 1995.

" Major League Baseball Properties (MLBP) is undergoing a comprehensive review of its distribution and marketing policies with respect to the online sales of its licensed merchandise. Any customer selling (online) is required to complete the attached application to become an approved online retailer of MLBP-licensed apparel and headwear."

and then

"We are writing to inform you that your application to become an MLB
Approved Online Retailer has been denied.
Thank you for your cooperation.

We will still be here but no MLB caps/jerseys for sure can be sold when the
timetable to stop has been given to us but I think it is close.
Hopefully the PCL caps, lithos etc and other items can stay along with the
history that we have tried to carry with the companies goals.

To say I am heartbroken, would be an understatement. As part of our
proceeds have gone to charity organizations such as caps for a Children's
Cancer Center in Tennessee, school project helper links and products etc.

I have updated our American Needle cap section to show our
current inventory and to offer a 20% discount for CAPS only
with coupon code "0518" at checkout through July 25th.
We will try our best to fill your order with our stock but unsure
how American Needle will supply our needs for replenishment
as they are under the same umbrella as MLB undertakes this
fiasco of a culling.
