D Wayde can learn something from Candice Parker.

Having seen plenty of patients this semester alone, I know pain is as subjective as it gets and everyone deals with it in their own way.

Maybe he wasn't crying because of the pain but because his season is most likely over due to the injury - all of a sudden, this man has heart in somepeople's eyes. (Word to Adam Morrison).

I know the manly thing, especially on online message boards is to be an absolute thug and show no weakness so my efforts are probably futile.

I wonder where her penis went.

the wheelchair for wade was ridiculous, but the trainers probably didn't wanna take any risks...

with that said, the wade/lakers avy gets me every time

When Derek Anderson seperated his shoulder against the Mavs in the playoffs, he also walked off the floor on his own power.

For real, Candace Parker is tough for playing through an injury like that, no matter how badly the shoulder dislocation was.

^^how are you going to hate on a FEMALE basketball player??

and your better for hating on a man who doesn't even know you exist ?

The wheel chair was somewhat extreme, but when your talking about your franchise player I can see why they didn't want to take any chances.

Who knows if the extent of the dislocations are even close to being the same ?

Oh wait you do cause you had your little shoulder dislocated and then tried to play anyway, right ?

I was clowning on Wade when this happened but learning about shoulder dislocations at school has humbled me.

So until you dislocate your shoulder, or know the anatomical damage to Wade's shoulder / nerve damage and pain that radiates to his legs, don't talk.
I mean, that would make a little more sense if we hadn't just watched Parker play through a dislocated shoulder.

I understand tha tpain is subjective, but look at the huge disparity between the two reactions of the same injury; we have one guy screaming and crying inpain, being escorted off in a wheelchair... and we have a woman who continued play on the court, screamed, WALKED OFF ON HER OWN, and then returned to playsome more.

P.S. I see you, WILLINC; people hating on your boy and here you are.

So the hate goes to me because im being critical of a professional athlete i pay to watch? You act like you never give criticism at all.

FYI: a dislocated shoulder is a dislocated shoulder...there isn't any variance with that injury.

But i guess we offended you when we all started to laugh at your boy D Wayde who too his injury a little took dramatic?? So you decided to stick up forsomeone who doesn't even know your a fan of him.

How do you know it's the same injury, Dr. Ska?

I would have liked to see how Parker dislocated her shoulder because I remember what happened to Wade.

We do know that the injury in both situations is 'separated shoulder'. We're not talking about one person breaking their foot and another chippinga fingernail; we're talking about a separated shoulder... and a separated shoulder.

If you're talking about different degrees of the same injury, that's one thing, but I fail to see how they're not the same injury. 'Brokenfoot' =/= 'chipped fingernail'; 'separated shoulder = 'separated shoulder'.

But I like how you sarcastically call me Dr. Ska while failing to see that you were the first one to act like a doctor in here.

A question similar to the one you asked me could be asked of you. "How do you know the degrees of the two injuries are not the same, Dr. 715?"

I don't know the degrees of the two injuries are the same, but I'm not acting like I know it is; you're definitely acting like you know that theyare different separations... and you don't know that.

Didn't Wade dislocate his shooting arm?? While Candice Parker dislocated her non-shooting arm???

Damn, a lot of sensitive Wade fans in here...i guess it comes along with the profile of the player.

I don't know what you majored in, but this is the stuff I'm in school for right now, and will be dealing with for the rest of my career. So I do havesome basis behind what I say, while you ... yea, you got nothing.

I love how you went back to add more to your post. Honestly, you shouldn't devote that much time to me because I just don't care. Until I see howParker got hurt, I won't get into it with you because its like arguing with a door knob.

FYI: a dislocated shoulder is a dislocated shoulder...there isn't any variance with that injury.
FYI: you're wrong.

The comment on wade was low...

That happened so long ago why are people still worried about it?

So you're a doctor then?

Credentials hanging on the wall, medical degrees to back your opinion up? You have all that behind your replies?

What have you got to support your professional medical opinion?

Yeah, you got nothing.

Don't claim it before you've earned it, guy.

I edited my reply because it wasn'taccurate. Unlike yourself, I don't like making it sound like I'm sure of something I'm not sure of.

But

at where this thread has gone...i was just trying to show people how tough Candice is and compared is Wade.

Ok, Mr. board-certified orthopedic surgeon..

These dude don't understand that an injury can have associated complications and its not as simple as just a disolcated shoulder. If you think ofa fracture, you think there is a broken bone, but it can be open/closed, pathologic, due to stress, spiral, bowing and each brings on further complications.

Don't we have anybody on this message board with an exercise science degree or at least a working knowledge of sports injuries that can come in this threadand clear up this mess??
