The wiki page you just posted not only says it's "not globally accepted" it also says the term is inappropriate.
They define arab world as countries in the arab league which acts in the interest of arab countries. Which they define an arab as someone who's language is Arabic among other things. I know there are people in Somalia and Sudan that don't speak Arabic and how's ancestors never have.
