She may not get her case overturned, but because of the fact the family was so loving and forgiving, I can see a judge making the sentence even lighter.
If the family made it a point to villainize this woman (as they should have), I'm not sure she even would have public support to go through with this ********.
God this is so frustrating. I made it through about 20 minutes after the timestamp. Glad she got denied parole in 2024, but she's eligible for parole again this year (2026).
I know she's gonna get out, and it's gonna be ******* sickening. Even if she serves the last 3 years, the full sentence and gets out in September 2029, it's still horrific. Botham is dead, and she'll be just 41 years old, and will get book deals and a flood of donations from racists and police and Fox News and republicans. ******* disgusting.
