Damn Spyware got me

I'm mad. Visited Youtube and got infected with some programcalled AV wares. It's a fake spyware removal program that actually the spyware itself. Damn @#% geeks , nerds passed out spywares around the net andinfected my computer. Now my computer has pop up every 2 minutes plus there is this red X on the bottom right of my screen telling me that i'm infected.I'm thinking about formatting my whole comp but i'm too lazy to back up the stuff on my hard drive(about 40gb worth of important files, works, music,games, some pron, ect.) What are some good removal program that i can use to remove spyware ? Help me, I know there are some free stuff online but there arelike hundred of them and some of them are fake bad program. My last resort is to go to Best Buy and buy one of those Norton or Mccaffee program but they'relike 30, 40 bucks each.

Had the same thing.

Download a program called Malwarebytes' it's free. Just run a quick scan, delete the whatever is causing the problem, and you should be fine. If thisdoesn't work & if it's that serious I can be of more help.

avg anti-virus.

Had this before, download Malware Antibytes and update and scan .. that should take care of the problem.

Had a similar thing happen to me last month. Ended up with me formatting the hard drive.
