as far as i know, there isn't much difference between the 6 - 7 - 8 series', but there is a tremendous leap to the 9 series.
this vizio looks insane for the size/specs/price.
The 9 is good yes. So is the XBR8. However, after those 2 there is a huge dropoff because they are not LED. LED makes a huge difference, andit's what finally makes the LCD better than the Plasma. I mean it still has to be tweaked a little. But the Kuro top of the line Plasmas are the best onthe market. Their refresh rate, anti-blurring, and deep blacks make them the best. I know the burn in is an issue, but it's not that big anymore. Unlessyou seriously leave it on the weather channel for like a year straight without changing the channel or turning the TV off.Originally Posted by jumpman247
