Ok, NT, here's the deal.
I moved up to Minneapolis two weeks ago. I'm a fresh college grad and I scored a pretty decent job with a salary/benefits and all that. I've been working there for a little over a week.
The girl in the cubicle right behind me is pretty cute. I'm 22, she's 24, she sort of looks like Natalie Portman but with a little more thickness (not fat at all, though, just saying a little thicker cause Portman is like a twig). She is already dropping hints at smashing. She already invited me to watch a movie at her place, invited me to the pool at her apt. complex, mentioned multiple times that she is single, always says my shirt/tie look good together, etc. She comes by my cube and just sits and chats. She is in the same situation I am where she moved up here with no contacts and I'm pretty sure she doesn't have that many friends.
THE MAJOR ISSUE with this all is that on an average work day (typical 9-5) she smokes probably 5-6 cigarettes. I don't smoke cigs/tobacco of any kind at all, ever. I hate the smell. I do smoke green but IMO that's totally different.
The dealbreaker is that she has a pretty bad smoker's tooth. One of her front teeth is pretty discolored, but the worst part about it is her gum. The gum directly above the tooth is some sort of grey shade. Almost like it's dead or something.
With a perfect set of teeth, this girl would be an eight. Now I'm really not sure about pursuing... #1 because of the tooth and #2 because it would definitely be foolish to try and start something this early in my career at this company. If anything backfires I could be in a terrible situation... I mean, her cube is right across from mine.
But coworkers always get drunk after work at a bar or at this pool. Everyone is mid-to-late 20's and I've already heard stories about these other two coworkers taking lunch breaks to go smash (one of which is married)
I could easily see myself smashing on some drunk ishh.
What do you think, NT? Do any nonsmokers here date/smash a heavy smoker??
AND BEFORE YOU ALL FREAK OUT ABOUT "LOL OP WHY NO PICS" the girl's name is so generic (like Jones/Smith/you know what I mean) that I can't even find her on Facebook. Believe me, I tried.
