You were so great you put Shaq on your back.
_ please. Shaq could've been a first option on plenty a time that year. He was avg. low 20s and 10 a game.

Who was the Finals MVP? oh ok...._ please. Shaq could've been a first option on plenty a time that year. He was avg. mid 20s and around 8 a game. You were so great you put Shaq on your back.![]()

The problem is Wade plays reckless but he also doesn't take care of his body like he should. You can tell man. Dude had/has that CP3/LuckyLuchiano neck fat beard combo. His body don't even look the same. Maybe the Miami night life is catching up to him. His conditioning has looked poor too.
Wade looks like a guy who came out of retirement and is trying to get his groove back. Its sad. Age isn't the issue. Its his lack of commitment to his game and his body.

Thanks to Downs, owner of TERF Athletic Facility on SW 81st Terrace in Miami, Wade has trimmed weight off his frame while also increasing his strength, explosion, quickness and balance.
The end goal is a body that can stand up to the NBA’s abuse as Wade, who is nearing his 30th birthday, begins the second half of his career. Wade will weigh in Friday at 230 pounds, noticeably leaner than last season, and will register a mere 3.5 percent body fat. Wade’s total body fat was 4.8 percent when he began working with Downs.
Wade was the best player on that team. That was my point. I never said Shaq wasn't good or not producing still. How can one poster be so ignorant on so many topics? OP said Wade carried Shaq...like Shaq ain't avg a solid double double for his entire first two years at Miami. Ain't nobody "carrying" 20 & 10.Who was the Finals MVP? oh ok....
Shaq had ran of gas by the finals. he failed to reach double digits in two of the games. Meanwhile Wade had one of the most dominant 4 game stretches in NBA finals history. I believe that's what OP was referring to.You were so great you put Shaq on your back.

You're right I can't see how he doesn't finish how he used to. I don't see how his body looks different. I don't read anything posted from people close the Miami team. Don't pull that DC logic on me man. I don't see how much his "social" life has taken off. I don't see the difference in his training with that new dude in Miami than the world famous Tim grover. I don't see the constant games he sits out. I don't see the lack of sharpness in this game. The problem is Wade plays reckless but he also doesn't take care of his body like he should. How in the blue hell do you conclude that Wade doesnt take care of his body by watching a game on TV once a week? And now you know he's not committed to his game or his body?![]()
Bottom line is you don't know anything that happens behind the scenes. Hell 99.9% of ppl on here don't know so stop coming up with these asinine conclusions.

Repped man. I can appreciate somebody on NT going back and saying my bad.Fair enough. Reading what I originally quoted made it sound like Shaq was Mario Chalmers at the time.Wade was the best player on that team. That was my point. I never said Shaq wasn't good or not producing still.

I know my limitations...but I do appreciate the opportunity to learn something new, even from NT.Loads of hypocrisy on this site, loads of it.
I'll simply chalk it up to human error.

There was a thread saying Wade was the 3rd best SG of alltime. That shows his potential and level of play we are used to. Look at him now and say you feel the same way. Under 20 points a game? For a Shooting guard? The best one in the East?Dwayne Wade is the best SG in the Eastern Conference and is easily the best SG in the league not named Kobe Bryant. Please stop it with all this emotional uninformed sports talk. This is ridiculous.
Dwyane Wade 2012-2013 Stats
Pts Per Game: 19.4
Assist Per Game: 4.5
Steals Per Game: 1.2
Shooting Pctg: 47.3
TO Per Game: 2.3
All of this coming off knee surgery and recovering from a foot injury. He's fine and this thread has proven that a lot of people in this forum knows nothing about basketball...![]()
