i always find it crazy that hes only been in the league for 9 years and hes only 4 years younger than kobe.

Here's what you saidYou're taking it completely out of context. I'm not comparing him to Ben Gordon. Of course he's a better player than Ben Gordon. By taking that little piece out you are making it appear that I am comparing the two. That tells me all I need to know.[/SIZE]
Is Dwade not a combo guard? Was he not regarded as that coming into the league? Don't answer that...
Is Ben Gordon a combo guard? Was he not regarded as that coming into the league? Don't answer that either...
you see what I did there? I didn't compare them as much as it just a point that added to the gist of what I was getting at which was that combo guards don't fair too well for extended periods of time in the L.
This is a comparison sir, and an extremely poor one at that.Without Shaq and Lebron, he would be thrown into that class of combo guards like Ben Gordon in his prime
As if Wade is your everyday, average combo guardTweeners who can't shoot don't last long in the L and they definitely don't sustain that peak level of performance for over a 3 to 5 year span.
.The best 2 guard in the L right now not named Kobe?
James Harden, O.J. Mayo, and a few others would like to have a word with you...
..... Lmaoits the shoes

This statement right here lacks perspective and knowledge of the game of basketball. Both players play on bad teams and are their teams primary source of offense. Wade is outplaying Mayo on a bad foot and healing knee. Harden has played great, but doesn't have anyone else who is legitimate a scoring threat. The second best player on the Rockets is Chandler Parsons... LOL
The 4th best player on the Heat is Ray Allen. Need I say more.
A few others would like to have a word with me to tell me Dwyane Wade is still a top player in this league. Get out of here with that non-sense.
Here's what you said
This is a comparison sir, and an extremely poor one at that.
Then you ended it with this
As if Wade is your everyday, average combo guard.
Dude, first round exit or not, in '08-'09 he had one of the best all-around seasons of any guard ever. This dime a dozen combo guard thing just isn't true and comparing Ben Gordon to him is ridiculous.
¨Hes old.
The refs could at least get him to the finals again. If bron has a season ending injury do yall think wade could carry them to another title?...I say no
Looking at the career arc of other athletic guards like McGrady, Finley and Sprewell it isn't all that surprising. They all starting to experience declines in athleticism (and production in general) at 30-31.¨
He's not even 31 yet. And he's only played like 70% of the regular season games he could've played throughout his career. Can't believe this dude is going downhill so fast at an age that is basiecally still 4-5 years away from the winter of a superstar player's career. He should focus on the defensive end and making cuts under the basket on the offensive end, something that got him going in that game in the Pacers series last year when he couldn't buy a jumpshot, stretching the court even more, the opposite of the way Ray Allen stretches it.
He can't be used as a spot-up shooter like Bosh. Running iso plays for him is not a smart option, other than the 1 game out of 7-8 where the jumpshot is falling for this streaky jumpshooter who has never been a great shooter.
Loads of hypocrisy on this site, loads of it.
I'll simply chalk it up to human error.
If bron has a season ending injury do yall think wade could carry them to another title?...I say no
If D Wade a season ending injury you think Bron could carry the team? See I can throw silly **** out there too.

But really tho.![]()

@ myself.
How exactly is Dwade outplaying Mayo? He's shooting better than Wade from the field, from the 3, and is scoring at a higher clip than him. Its clear you are bias and not looking at things from an honest perspective. The fact that you legitimately think D wade is outplaying OJ right now says all I need to know.
Harden...Same thing.
D Wade is not a top player in this league anymore. More people will tell you that he isn't than he is. He's "good" right now, that's it. He isn't great, he isn't a superstar talent anymore, he's just a "good" player.
Sure throwing Ben Gordon in there was a bit extreme but you keep taking one thing out of what I said and harping on that, overlooking the point of it completely.
D Wade probably would be looked at as your everyday, a dime a dozen, combo guard had he not got with Shaq, and later Lebron.
