Wore these kicks for the first time in a few years today and guess what, the heels fell off as i was coming back through the door.

I bought these in March, 2002 so almost 16 years old. Like many back then, I had a cobbler paint the olive part black, and he did a real fine job. The paint lasted this whole time.

Anyway, RIP old friend ...

Still have my olive 9s. Haven’t worn them in ages. Small chunks have fallen off but you’re making look to pull them out for a test run lol

I still got that retro intact luckily, it is at its retirement age so I don't put strain on them at this point.

Gotta enjoy them while you can just like anything in life. Having them sitting in the closet just staring at them is just a waste of its purpose.

i had a pair to beat them to hell when i started out as track runner in high school. they had holes in the front. durable shoes at the time.

i still want those nrg olive retros.

I’ve been there my guy. Lost a pair of 1999 white/Cement 4s some years back to crumbling and just recently lost a pair of 2003 Atmos 95s. Both were DS.

Sad stuff but I plan on sole swapping the Atmos 95s. The upper is still immaculate and it’s just such a beautiful color way I’d hate to see it go to waste.

Anyways, here’s hoping they retro the Olives soon. I could def use a pair after selling my 2012s.
