The Death Row era was probably my favorite period in hip hop.

It was mature, and while Death Row was doing their performance you can see Bad Boy in the crowd enjoying the music and clapping for them.

That Source award is pretty much the match that lit the whole east vs. west thing, and look how that ended up.

What took place that night was a MAJOR CORNERSTONE in Hip Hop and finally brought out the true feelings of howthe East Coast felt about West Coast Rap Music or the West Coast period. I'm just glad that in 2000, the Hip Hop Community moved past it & willforever be in the History Books.

Yeah, they we're running things back then, I remember my cousin tried keep me from listening to Biggie/Bad Boy albums from '94 to 96'. Everybodywas really taking that beef seriously in the West Coast.
