I haven’t ever seen banned or sbb’s so I can’t speak on those but I do have both unions. The unions are just overall so different than any other 1s that I have. The leather seems thicker, but nice. As far as like standard 1s that I have (compared to like 16 black toes, 17 royals, 18 shadows) I would say it’s definitely better quality than those.

Probably in line with Unions. Nice THICK leather.

I've had SBBs and the orange pigskin leather is softer, but thinner. I don't know why SBBs are the benchmark for leather. Softness is not necessarily equivalent to quality. Plus that black leather glitters.
