I think hating is when a person dislikes, disagrees, or has any kind of negative reaction not for a legitimate reason, but because
they dislike and/or are jealous of the person or people who is doing or came up with whatever the hater is hating on.

Don't know but I do know that people these days are too sensitive and take a differing opinion to be "hating"
For example the car example in OP is not "hating", someone could genuinely not like the aesthetic of the car

Hating is basically an Opinion that is made but in a negative way. You can disagree if you want to, but it doesn't have to be in a negative way trying to bring the person down.
