This was the only thing that made sense to me in this tread. My bro has a E 350 and my homie has a BMW. They stay in the shop. The BMW isn't even running and he has a 12' with less than 50K.


Heres my girl and I love her. Brand new fully loaded and 27.5k otd.

And what bums me out is that inside the BMW it still has the same panel for ac and stuff with the the same screen for the radio as the old 2000 models smh. Fully loaded rlx is what I might get. I'm a picky person man. It takes me forever to shop for clothes.

oh yeah??? But the tlx was on my list. Its very nice. With the buttons for gears. Has some nice features too. Voice activation a/c

Acura is a Honda man. You're good to drive a tlx for a long time.

OK cause they said it was 40k fully loaded. Or I can't remember if it was a tlx. I'm bad with rembering stuff like that. But the tlx does look better.

Yes this is a 2013 Accord. I'm like you, it takes me forever to decide on purchases. I knew I wanted some reliable, wouldn't make me a slave to mechanical repairs and would it's value.

TBH I would cop a Acura or Lexus. After that if I want a new car it would be the BMW or Benz. This is your first fairly brand new car I don't think you should take such a great leap

Dude get a fully loaded 4runner and be a boss. screw badge flossing. They are bad *** af. You will be able to resell this all damn day and won't lose much.

I second this. Hard to beat a 4runner and will go 300k miles plus resale is great. The orange is factory toyota paint, it's the trd pro. I've thought more then once to sale my fj cruiser and buy a new 4runner but the fj is paid off so im gonna hold onto it. At least look into them.

Man if you want a car for the long run german is the absolute worse to go . Yeah the look nice and are pleather and all that but after that warranty goes youre gonna be spent racks on racks on repairs and maintenance. I know you dont want domestic(even tho that ctsv has it all imo) so go japanese (cant go wrong). You never specified what youre looking for sedan coupe suv and what uses you would use it for weekend car daily driver.

60K is a significant investment, if I were you I'd do some research, schedule some test-drives, maybe sit pat for a while and assess the 2015 model year, and really take my time with it.


it astounds me how many folks stumble in here asking us to tell them what to drive.


what you drive is an extension of you, of your lifestyle, of your taste, your passions, and your vision.


it's like the clothes you wear, if you're not driving something that suits you, the car is driving you instead of you driving the car.

it has to be a seamless experience, organic, like putting on an expertly tailored suit, it has to fit you.


that's the best advice I can offer you my son, rest you have to figure out on your own.

I always worked minimum wage now I'm an engineer. I never could afford nothing so i thought i get something nice. I'm thinking BMW 428i. Not too expensive. Its 40 something to 50. I plan not to spend over 50 on a car.

The z/28 is a badass car, but about the last thing I would recommend for what OP is looking for. The ride is harsh as hell for city commuting, air conditioning isn't standard and the "sound system"... if you even want to call it that... consists of a single speaker that's only there for legal purposes such as turn signal and seatbalt chimes. The ZL1 is a much more streetable option, but OP already said he doesn't like Camaros.

Basically. nah I make 12 an hour on paper. Bring home a lot of cash I don't claim. It's 75% of my income. Gotta keep child support off my d. Plus my credit score is 500. Not stellar. Next car I'll be able to finance. Just gotta clean it up some.
