my dad majored in french and went on to be an urban planner for a few years and then a corporate attorney

my cousin majored in comparative literature and took a job at goldman sachs right out of college, then moved to london where she worked venture capital.

i could go on and on. it's almost meaningless, actually. your grades matter much more.
