Detroit LB Sims doubtful for Week 3
Detroit linebacker Ernie Sims was listed as doubtful for Sunday's home game against the Washington ********. Sims, who has 14 tackles on the young season, suffered a shoulder injury in last week's loss against Minnesota.
He did not participate at all in practice this week. He is one of five defenders on the injured list as defensive end Cliff Avril (hamstring) and cornerback Eric King (shoulder) are both listed as doubtful, while cornerback Phillip Buchanon (neck) and defensive end Andre Fluellen (knee) are both list as questionable

Thanks for making it simple and contradicting yourself for me. Like you said it is a week to week league, therefore the Lions could come out and win any game of the season, just like the Skins. This game will be ugly, but I still don't see Washington being able to do much on offense.

Alright let me rephrase what I said. The NFL is a week to week league EXCEPT for the Detroit Lions.

19 regular season weeks. 19 losses.

But I digress.

Did you miss the part where I've watched every game except 2 for the past 17 years? Bandwagoner my @!%

Do I need to remind you how bad we were duringmost of those 17 years? I HAVE stuck with the team through these bad times, there haven't hardly been any good times, and they haven't done anything toreward my loyalty at all. All they do is bring me down even more. All of the things that were wrong with the team last year, specifically the O-line andreceivers, are STILL wrong with the team this year; so why would I have ANY reason at all to expect different results and be optimisitc? Insanity is when youdo the same thing over and over again and expect different results.

And for the record, I'm in Europe right now studying abroad so it's not like I can just flip on the tv and casually watch the game; I gotta go througha lot of hassle to get it online. Plus there are a LOT of interesting things I could be doing. But hell, I might as well watch it just to see if we can getSOME kind of offense going.
