I think we all know it's pretty obvious

I mean I'm a huge Jennings fan and I think he'll succeed in the league, but people are actually putting him in the same tier as LeBron in terms ofstarting a franchise?

So as soon as one person makes your point or gives your answer, you shouldn't bother replying?

No thread would make it to page 2 if that was the rules.

NBA- Lebron James (24)
NFL - Adrian Peterson (24)
MLB - Joe Mauer (26) or Tim Lincecum (25)
NHL - Sidney Crosby

I don't get the Peyton Manning choice. Yes, dude is at the top of his game right now....but he is 33 years old. The question was, "if you'restarting a franchise TODAY". I mean, Peyton only has about 3-4 "elite" years left. I get the QB choicebut Manning would be like 15th on my most wanted list right now.

It's not good to build your team around scoring PGs, even if they can get some assists too. Stephon Marbury, Steve Francis, Baron Davis with Charlotte, etc.

And then you got Kidd and Nash, who are two of this generation's best PGs and neither have a gotten a championship being the key component to their teams. You go with a big man or wing scorer if you're building a team.

NFL: Favre
NBA: Favre
NHL: Favre
MLB: Favre

And your point is what?

Both them guys are arguably the best at what they do today, and still have at least 4/5 years at being in the "elite" group in their respectiveleagues

If we're talking about long term success:

NBA - Dwyane Wade or Melo
NFL - Aaron Rodgers
MLB - Ryan Howard
NHL - Ovechkin, maybe a goalie

Not saying that.

But if the "point" you getting at is "

@ Jennings" then I guess you right.

Nah, I agree he shouldn't be in the same convo, as you can see per my post you quoted.

But I'm saying people are just saying "oh god, Jennings ?" after 5 people already expressed the opinion.

There are no right or wrong opinions.

Only reason I didn't say Peyton (my favorite player in the league, actually) or Brady is because of age.

I just kind of asked 'Who's the youngest 'above average' QB in the league?', and for me, that's either Brees or Eli. And Eli would bemore of a 'He's Peyton's brother and he has a championship' pick, not a 'He's better than Brees' pick.'
