Damn, Brees is 30, Peyton's 33, and Brady's 32... so using age doesn't really make a lot of sense for me.

I feel all you guys bashing me for picking Jennings but I get's thats just my opinion.

He can score, pass, and is a pg that I can see building a team around.

Oh, I forgot to mention Durant.

What exactly am I aiming to accomplish? A win now? A win in 3-5 years? Or just to win regardless? If it's the last or first, I see no problem with puttingsomeone like Kobe or Manning. Why put faith in something good coming in the future when you know what you're getting now?

This all changes if one of the requisites is future success.

It's basically up for you to decide. You would own your own damn franchise.

If I wanted to win NOW, I'd go with Kobe/Timmy/Garnett/Lebron.

If I want to have a future, I'd pick Jennings/Paul/Durant/ & you get the point.

And your point is what?

Both them guys are arguably the best at what they do today, and still have at least 4/5 years at being in the "elite" group in their respective leagues
Peyton has more than 4/5 years. Dudes a pocket QB, not like hes going to lose a step running the ball
laugh.gif

I'm also surprised alot of people pick Pujols too. Don't get me wrong dudes a great player, but if I'm starting a franchise.. pitching wins youchampionships point blank. I think I would go with CC, dudes a beast when it comes to amount of innings he can handle, and being a lefty pitcher in the MLB

LeBron is the only obvious pick in any of the major sports. NFL you could go with stud QB or RB. Baseball is really up in the air (Cleanup dude/5 toolstud/Pitching).
NHL I don't really know (check sig) but I guess Ovechkin but doesn't a great goaltender make a big deal (a Roy/Hasik type??).
