I can only imagine how much better the team will play if Donovan's mom makes them Campbell's Chunky soup before every game

Seahawks are expected to trade for Brandon Marshall and are rumored to want Vick. I dont want either of those to happen. Dont need the Seahawks getting good again.
The 49ers ONCE AGAIN are sitting on their hands doing absolutely nothing. Did you guys hear some of the diarrhea that came out of McCloughan's mouth today?!? "its not a real good market," or "there is no one that we feel can significantly improve our team," or "we're not going to be considered a big free agency team anyways." You are a @$#%%*% idiot if you dont think there is anyone out there that can help this team. No one out there that can improve out team.....did we win the Superbowl last year or something?
We are SO close to being the best in the division again. I hope we make enough changes to make that happen.
Which would mean the FO sold out for Smith.Originally Posted by dland24
I think its pretty obvious that if we are signing David Carr, that it means the end of the Shaun Hill era in SF.

Pretty much agree with everything here.Originally Posted by FlashEightZero
if we come out of the draft with a good tackle to replace snyder and a returner who's actually a threat to return a punt and can bring kickoffs out past the 25, i'll be happy. secondary depth (some speed at safety, cb's so i never have to watch dre bly again), backup rb (i have no faith in coffee) and a guard would be nice too. not nearly as many holes this offseason as usual though
i'll concede that mcnabb + 1 > dos uno's in 2010-11. but even if the niners with mcnabb are a better team than the niners with smith, i don't think either team has a chance for trophy #6. on the other hand, in 3-4 years that #1 pick could be a franchise cornerstone, while mcnabb could be in street clothes (this is all wild conjecture on my part). for immediate impact, yeah mcnabb is better, i just don't think it's worth the tradeOriginally Posted by MzD650

Answer me this......
Do the 49ers win the division if we have Donovan McNabb + 1 first round pick?
Do the 49ers win the division with the 2 first round picks and Alex Smith?
Im curious to know your answers. I think the answer to the answer to the first question is a resounding YES, and the answer to the second question is a small maybe. Id trade the pick. No questions asked.
