The top 50 was for like the 50th anny of the league or somethin like that. Its been what 13 years since that list, dudes dont deserve to be taken off they are there for a reason but theres def some guys that deserve to be put on. Make top 63 or somethin. Now im

From this era's group, Tim Duncan, Kobe Bryant, Steve Nash, Dirk Nowtizki, Kevin Garnett, and LeBron James should be in. Dwyane Wade needs to win an MVP, another title, or have 5 more years like he's having this year before he belongs in the top 50. Durant will be up there at the pace that his career is going at.

This is a fun topic. I don't think there would be too many people that you could replace on that list...they would probably just have to expand it to 60 and include guys like Kobe, Timmy, J. Kidd, A.I. etc.

Forgot about Kidd and AI.  My mind's been too post-2005.  I'm reluctant to put Wade anywhere in there now because that Finals was straight fugazi and everybody knows it.  He's been putting up great stats but for some mediocre teams since that championship year.  Unless he's playing on some winning teams or goes the "mvp caliber stats on crappy teams" route, he's not top 50.

Instead, I would just add 10 more players after each decade, which is what they should have done a couple of years ago for the 60th anniversary.

IMO, Dwyane Wade has not done enough to put himself in the top 50, let alone be higher than ANYone bumped off the list because of the people we all agree should be added. Id put him around 60 (and Im a huge fan).

Why, just because he's a Laker? If we're talking top 50 players of all time up to now, how is Worthy not one of the first five removed from that list? That list would need to make room for Duncan, Kobe, Lebron, Dirk, Kidd, and AI at the very least. I love Big Game as much as the next Laker fan, but he's not in the top 50 over any of those guys. Who would you remove first? Worthy had a shorter career than most of the guys on that top 50 list.
