Doesn't hurt. They say wait like 6 weeks. I took mine out immediately. Walking around with them starter joints isn't wavy.

How much it hurts depends on where on the ear you get the piercing. If it's lobes, then doesn't hurt at all.
And I kept the starter studs or whatever for 3 weeks

Don't listen to these fools. It felt like the flames of hell were on full blast on my ears the day I got them pierced. I also hope you don't like your pillowcase as copious amounts of blood will be spilled upon them during your slumber (if you can manage to close your eyes amidst your stream of tears). It's only for about 6 weeks though. Good luck.

I think u gotta wait a month before you take them out, its been so long so I maybe wrong...It didn't hurt, its a quick pinch with a gun. You won't regret it though, I dnt even feel right if I dnt got my %$%% in

My aunt had did it for me.
She had everything soaking in alcohol, iced my ear to the point of impatience, and just poked whatever she used through. Instantaneous, and it actually NEVER hurt... weird.
I should ask her to do my other ear.
I didn't know how long I was supposed to keep it in (I was 10), but I just left it in however long until my mom bought me a real one.

and to the original question, no it doesnt hurt, they say to wait for about 4 weeks till you should take them out, just make sure you clean often like they say
