and to the original question, no it doesnt hurt, they say to wait for about 4 weeks till you should take them out, just make sure you clean often like they say

got both done 3 or so years back with the gun and it didnt hurt at all.

about 10 years ago my brother iced my ear til it was numb and pushed a needle through it. the pop was loud as hell but it aint hurt that bad lol

it depends which part you are piercing but if its the normal spot, it doesn't hurt at all ( lol @ these dudes). After its done, make sure you use the solution to clean the area/ear so it won't get infected.
