. I doubt dude is really 6'0 165 as he was listed haha. I'm biased though, since AI is my favorite athlete. I honestly think AI never practiced the way other nba players do/did. Everything about dude was so raw, analyze his shooting form, free throw mechanics, the way he pulled off those crossovers, off balance jumpers,. It was more of his instincts, talent, and raw skill than any kind of "repetition" or "habit". On the contrary, that may be the very reason he doesn't have a ring

Another player that left too soon. Idiot. The difference between Iverson and Page is Iverson was a one in a million talent who really had it all except for the off court issues.
Victor Page was just another overhyped big east wing with mental problems - essentially a dime a dozen.
Just because Joseph Forte and Jordan both won ACC player of the year, doesn't mean I would start comparing the two( see what I did there) I mean Forte made me a UNC fan, but in no way is he better than Jordan "Pro Career excluded". Same should be said for Page, while his style of play was exciting, and he got to the big dance, he was really nothing special bruh.

You are completely missing the point here bro. The percentage of people in the world who think Victor Page was a better college player than Allen Iverson is probably at MOST 1%. If you have an opinion like that, dont state the opinion and tell everyone else to prove to you why its wrong. If you make a comment that most of the free world disagrees with, it is YOUR job to argue our case, not our job to argue the opposite side.
If I was to say that Gerry Macnamara was a better college player than Carmello Anthony, wouldnt it be my job to argue why thats the case? If you have an opinion that is so far out of left field that EVERYONE looks as you like you are nuts, it is YOUR job to back up your opinion. Thats all I'm saying. Carry on.

see as valid as you think your point is you not concentrating on what I said focus on..... they both were running off raw talent..... its overall game ... completeness ..... iverson is top 10 all time in my book I'm just talking overall game.... at gtown.... iverson had the ball more that s all ...... if you don't kn now who vp is do your research our exit thread please..... check their stats I'm sure they were pretty similar

There is NO comparison. OP, are you even old enough to remember them PLAYING in college? If so, you'd know that there is a HUGE discrepancy between the two on every level. Take out Iverson's pro career (as idiotic as it sounds), and he's still 50x the player Victor was in school. He was a high volume shooter who needed A LOT of refinement. No matter what his PPG average was there were a +*$+ load of holes in his game. Page was his own worst enemy and no matter how much of a steadying/positive/fatherly influence Big John was, Page always had one foot on the streets. If he had stayed one...maybe two more seasons at G'Town, he could have matured both on/off the court and there would have been a good chance that he sniffed the 1st round. There are 100's of players of Victor Page's ilk who come thru college basketball and DO make it on the professional level. Ask yourself how many AI "clones" you've seen in college and whether or not their game has translated to the pros? Luis Flores, Keydren Clark, Marcus Hatten, SirValiant Brown, etc etc....AI defied the odds and made it. Not only in college, but as a 6'0" scoring guard who was the #1 overall pick who ultimately cemented his legacy as one of the GREATEST players in NBA history. Shuges is 100% right...the AI hate on this board is insane. +*$+, we're comparing Victor Page to Iverson and actually questioning if Page was the better player

I rarely....RARELY post but this is just absurd. VICTOR PAGE? I mean really? I have to agree with Doublej....were you even old enough to watch them both play in college? A.I. was LIGHTYEARS ahead of VIctor Page. I could see maybe MAYBE comparing Stephon and Iverson's college careers, but Victor Page? That's like saying Felipe Lopez and Iverson were comparable because they were both the number one recruits in the country.....just simply idiotic.

lol i didnt noe who victor page was so i did a youtube search of him lol no clips so i cant really compare his game to ai
so then i did a wiki search man dude is really bout tat life lol well he seems way more G than ai lol

The only people who think Victor Page was better than AI @ any point in their basketball careers are either related to Vic or grew up w/ him in DC.

1- Im assuming you mean elite 8.
2- It actually doesnt answer dudes question at all. Infants go to sporting events and so do 90 year olds. You being in attendance at that game in 96 (not sure if I believe) has no correlation to your age.
