Not too become holier than thou, but most of you may wanna pick up a Bible (reading is fundamental/ as is doing a lil research as to why things are like they are and etc...) and ive done my fair share of +$%!$*# up and im sure it isnt over, but i say that too say this... i believe everyones story IS WRITTEN already, too a certain degree... feel me.. and its up to you to CONTROL your predetermined destiny...

If your "story" has already been written, that is predestination. Suggesting that you have control when your fate has already been determined makes no sense.

Everybody claims they have free will. Free will is only your will to choose to believe or not to.
Nobody is free in the material universe because the universe operates under precise numerical laws/conditions.
From my observation most people have no desire to be TRULY free...they live strictly for satisfying their senses. Which is why a lot of people commit suicide because that's the only independent action they'll ever DO and be certain of. Cowards.

I was a Christian for over half of my life. I know the bible reasonably well.
Christiantiy is not god. You sound like the rest of the misguided Westerners who arbitrary considered themselves Christian because they were subjugated into that organized religions doctrine.
If we're to believe that WE as humans are somehow more significant than ants or blades of grass and that there's a god out there looking out for us, then there's a problem.
Speak for yourself buddy. YOU aren't any more significant than an ant or a blade of grass YET you know the answers and you KNOW god isn't real. Don't you?

I don't believe too much into all of the Bible stories, but here's my take on Adam and Eve. They were created in God's image, to be perfect human beings. With that, God gave them another amazing gift: the ability to think freely and act as they chose. Sure, he could have created them to be flawless and obedient. But then wouldn't that have been like creating a slave? They messed up and ate the apple, and as a result were punished. They weren't created to eat the apple, they were created then ate the apple by themselves, when God told them not to. So they disobeyed him and he punished them.
I was thinking about the Adam and Eve story but in esoteric terms ... I believe it's an allegory for woman creating life, I know not a very astounding or astute observation but when I think of that story it's the only thing that makes sense. That while through "God" Eve was born from Adam but life on the Earth would forever be born through Eve and as a consequence of that, evil was also born/spread through Eve.
Furthermore before Eve there was only one creator of life. Life was always God's realm, then through Eve life was born through all creatures of the earth. All of this leads to the AI paradigm where Adam attempts to ascend to God's realm by creating life born of himself w/o Eve and w/o the essence of "God"

I've got an unpopular view on suicide.
Lately I've been seeing it as honorable. Anyone who has ever been depressed knows what I'm talking about. It takes a brave person to kill themselves and enter the next level. Haven't any of you wondered what the afterlife is about? If you are living in so much mental anguish that every day is a chore, every time you get out of bed is exhausting, and you walk around with a dark cloud above your head 24/7, you might as well commit that (assuming you've tried medication already). Props, my brothers. See you at the next stage.
... and God? He's not around. But that's a different story.
