But we do tho...been waiting for people to realize this for a minute...

why do people think that god has to meddle into everyones life? and that god is the reason for everybody's successes and failures?

is this one of the rules in the bible?

I hate these threads because EVERYBODY is spewing nonsense...religious or not. No one can prove anything.

But...I feel like God has given us a choice in life whether it's to commit suicide, worship Him, believe in nothing...whatever. It's all the same...a personal choice.

I'm just answering the initial question. I'm not trying to persuade anyone to believe in God or not believe. And if you are, you are truly wasting your time on here.

The way I see it, we were created (not directly, but way back when life was created/developed to where we are today), to live in our world as we chose. Those who want/need God's help pray, and those who don't, don't. God doesn't cause earthquakes, or tsunamis, or genocides. Humans do. If one person prayed for another do die and that other one prayed to live, who would get consideration?

We are left do act as we choose. When cancer, aids, disease strikes, we are just humans. We can't expect to be immortal/immune to anything. Everything in nature is vulnerable to one or another, and it is not God's responsibility to make sure we all live forever and fulfill our dreams. He is there to help us, not to do it for us.

For suicide, the suicidal person chooses to take their own life. Would it really be better for God to save them? For one to kill themselves, they must truly be upset at their life, and for God to have them live through it would be terribly painful. God gave us an amazing gift in that we get to choose what we do with our lives.

It's not like everyday God decides a certain number of people get to live and a certain number have to die. We are humans, nothing more.

We were discussing the Westboro Church Yesterday on our way back from breakfast, we were talking about how they planned to attend Elizabeth Taylor's funeral, and laughing at them. I then told the girl think about it though, they're reading out of the same book you are

She took a second to think about it.

Different sins carried different punishments… there is a distinction between sin…
ie mortal and non mortal,

Quick questions.
Why did God create the devil?

How does man have free will even though God knows what we will do before we do it?

EXACTLY. thats thread. wrap it up b

suicide = easy way out.....quitting.....not manning up...  you got nobody to blame but yourself.

thread starter something tells me you are trolling. even non christians know that suicide is considered a sin and probably the only sure way to be sent to hell because i think in religion when commiting suicide you are taking life for granted something god died for you to live.

but if you use common sense it does makes sense. i mean imagine all those people who actually didnt want to die but actually did wether it be an accident or murder? and you have the nerve to off yourself? quiting on life for the simplest reasons? when dead people would give anthing to just be alive? thats just selfish man...
