I meet and get to know people all the time here at school, but it is usually on a semester basis. When the new semester rolls around, they usually become just another face to me. There are those that I have come to see as friends and I try to hang out with on a daily basis though. I guess it is somewhat true what my brother said one, the friends you make in college are usually the ones that stay your friends throughout your life, although i'm not quite finished with college yet.

People get on my nerves and I try to keep as many away from me as possible cause n's can't be trusted word to the homie Ross.

But that doesn't stop me from being sociable at times when I find it appropriate.

If any of that made sense.

You're not allowed to be anti social the older you get, socializing becomes a necessary life skill. I know what y'all mean though, I still need quiet breaks to recharge.

Psychiatrist told me I have I have "Anti-Social Personality Disorder" and said I have bad anxiety, and mofo gave me Klonopin. I took it for like 2 days and I was having more social anxiety than ever, I walked out in the middle of class pretty much running. It was weird.

Then you are, by definition, antisocial.

Antisocial means you hate people. Shy and antisocial are two different things.

Being shy by nature can often be mistaken for anti-social. That's pretty much what I am. I do like like meeting new people and talking, but I'm not one to walk up to someone and generate a conversation unless it's warranted (ie: work related) .

I have friends and I kick it everyday pretty much but at times I just gotta chill and smoke to myself for a couple days/weeks.

I get calls from my friends "hey come over we are chilling at Chris's house"  I ask who is there "ya know me mark, steve, kevin,...." and I am like...no I am good.  Rather sit at home and watch a movie and play video games than do the same thing with you.  I know what the convo's will entail I don't need to hear you guys B---- about your girls and talk about all the cool times you had last weekend getting wasted.....I am good.  "Um I have some errands to run I will hit you up in a bit"  NEVER CALL BACK

Once you know your friends that well it gets repetitive.  And its hard to find new guy friends at my age....24.  I like being alone, don't see a problem with that.
Thats exactly how i feel, out of all your friends or your friends friends theirs always that one dude that you don't really like. As soon as i ask "whose there" and my friend mentions one person i don't like i'll hit him with "i'm good". It's the same @*@$ every time you hang out with friends you've known for awhile. I'd rather chill at home by myself and not have to hear them @**%$ about whatever problems they've got or what they did over the weekend. I have a huge family so i hang out with them more than i do friends.

I do enjoy being alone a lot, but it is not good in my mind to be anti-social. Basically it's an ego thing to me. You're being too selfish to take the time to acknowledge other people and you're acting like what your doing is some how accomplishing more than if you just met up with someone. Doesn't cover everything but these are the feelings I get when I ignore people to have some alone time.
