i believe there's an evil spirit inhabiting my new apartment.  since i've moved here:

- several pairs of sneakers stolen
- miscellaneous items (hats, bathroom stuff, even my freakin mailbox key) have gone missing
- furniture damaged
- couldn't get my cable/internet (account) transferred and can't get the situation straightened out with comcast, so i have to use my phone to tether

there's obviously some sinister beast behind all this.  srs
