looking to buy my sis a new laptop
no macs, she used mine and doesn't like osx

the only requirements are

 intel an i3 would suffice

4 gig ram

14-15 inch screen

and a chiclet keyboard.

450 would be an ideal price but if there is no other option i can stretch to 480 maybe 500

any help is appreciated

Buy her a Mac with bootcamp.

I hate windows. They always freeze when I'm running a lot of software which I need to do for school or or my website and music. I switch to windows from my Mac using bootcamp since its more convenient.

(Hanna Montana melody, don't act like you don't know it) You get the bessssttt of both worlds, why would you have just one? When you could rock out with both?

Cause they are stupid

Go with Asus.  They make some decent budget laptops.  Build quality/reliability is usually better than those cheap Acers/HPs/Dells.
