And the bro code says you can't hook up with your boys ex until equal time has passed since they were together. For example if they were together for a year, she is off limits for a year after and you are sure he has moved on. You trying to jump in there right after is grimy. If she wasn't a good friend of yours best to keep it moving, sounds like you only chilled with her a few times. This is only going to lead to trouble for you OP.

Alright it would be wrong to want to smash and that wouldn't be cool.  But after several years if one of my friends wanted to actually date my ex I wouldn't have a problem.  As long as I knew he was a good dude and not trying to pull some grimy stuff it would be alright with me.  idk I have been put into a situation like this, except I was both of their best friends so maybe I am coming from somewhere else

Been there, all I can say is...she chose you cause your boy ISN'T your friend. She either sensed it or he talks about you when you aren't present with a lack of respect or loyalty which warrants a shift in power that she's willing to help you obtain in the dynamic.
