What proof and evidence are you looking for? Exerts from things you've already read and view as myths or inaccurate and unclear writings? Something else?Proof?
You use the word "theory" so where is your evidence?

Always loved your av, it's the only one I honestly sit and look at for at least 15minutes and imagine having sex with her, and how she would talk if we had a convo, but it wouldn't be a long one because I just want to see water splash on her tatasin before silly putty.
from good old wikipedia
God spells out to Noah the dimensions of the ark, 300 cubits by 50 by 30, approximately 440 feet long, 73 feet wide, and 43 feet high, with three internal divisions (which are not actually called "decks", although presumably this is what is intended), a door in the side, and a sohar, which may be either a roof or a skylight.
but as far as the dinosaurs go, you have to realize that the first five books of the Bible are written by Moses who lived roughly 1400 years before Christ and wrote according to his understanding of the creation (as understood by revelation and tradition). Therefore, if people 3400 years ago didn't understand/ know about dinosaurs, how could they include them in their history.
But doesn't the Bible start from the very beginning (inb4 Higgs Boson) about how everything thing was created? Moses wasn't alive that early but we still have Book of Genesis, so why isn't it there?
I don't think futuremd is sillyputty, putty had zero tolerance and respect for religion, Christian especially, and futuremd is a bantamweight compared to putty's walls of texts and meme/emoticon combos, dude approached religion with the strongest disdain outside of using swear wordsGod loves you sillyputty and one day you will find him and love him back. I have faith![]()
I don't believe that's the definite answer. Trying to figure out exactly what nephilim were last month and getting some answers caused me to associate dinosaurs with them. Fallen angels were smashing human women creating evil giants, nephilim. Nephilim means to fall, to kill or to ruin. These giants got too big and strong and were tainted/ruined by being half breeds. They couldn't be controlled and began taking their talents to animals. This is where I think dinosaurs came into play and God decided to uproot everything, clearing earth of the unclean nephilim and binding the angels with everlasting chains in darkness who were doing this as a warning for the other fallen ones not to commit this sin again. Not the end all be all answer but it caught my attention. There is clearly a reason you believe it, so why do you believe it?
You made the voluntary jump to associate with that idea, so what led you to that conclusion?
actually, I'd venture to say that real and ACTUAL christians might have more a valid stance in claim the bible to be science. Why not? I mean aren't they supposed to believe in the inerrancy of the book itself?
Who are they to take fault with a book that they're supposed to believe in?
I'm sure "god" wouldn't be happy knowing his "most faithful" doubted some of the very literal parts of the book he wrote/inspired.
If you mean Judaism, then yes.Christianity itself predates the Bible by hundreds of years, so I'm pretty sure believing in the Bible is not a requirement for being Christian.actually, I'd venture to say that real and ACTUAL christians might have more a valid stance in claim the bible to be science. Is this a valid conclusion? Can you support this or is this just an assumption you made and went further without checking to see if it makes sense?I don't believe that's the definite answer. So this really happened? The chains? The Angels? Darkness? This is where I think dinosaurs came into play and God decided to uproot everything, clearing earth of the unclean nephilim and binding the angels with everlasting chains in darkness who were doing this as a warning for the other fallen ones not to commit this sin again.
None of this makes sense. Not the end all be all answer but it caught my attention.

Proof?
And are angels real?
Proof?

It's my response to that breakdown of my post. Are we really discussing my belief or are you trying to prove to everyone else who's viewing this exchange something? Is this your response when asked to substantiate your claims?
You're dancing around something here. You're the one who aligns himself with a view of ACTUAL angels and dinosaurs in the bible.
I answered this question already. It's right here, same question with an answer.I'm asking you how you reached that conclusion and you have nothing to say.

Lets get this clear right now.because when dinosaurs were alive the world was uninhabitable for modern man. the conditions that allowed an enormous coldblooded creature to live and prosper is no place for us. and least in the part of the world they were in. and it wouldn't have aided the goal in writing about a bunch of bones. depending on if you want to roll with the scientific/biological approach.
if not, well, what purpose would it have served? I agree, these massive creatures would surely have a place in the book if moses had known of them. but according to the book, the world is only about 4.5 thousand years old. According to science, it's roughly 4.5 billion years old. It's all up for arguement. of course in order for some of the ideas in my second idea to work, you have to take into account some science and reasoning.
on a side note, I'm a big believer in the lord, but i definitely find science interesting, and i'm open minded to all ideas. I love theological discussions.
is FutureMD and SillyPutty the same person?

And I'm asking WHY you want me to give a reason for my belief. This is what you're not getting.
I'm not asking what you believe, i'm asking WHY you believe it and how you got to this conclusion.
If someone asks you "Hey why aren't dinosaurs mentioned in the bible"And I'm asking WHY you want me to give a reason for my belief. This is what you're not getting.
I'm not asking what you believe, i'm asking WHY you believe it and how you got to this conclusion.
You're right. If someone asks you "Hey why aren't dinosaurs mentioned in the bible"
and your response is: "Well angels...demons...chains...reptiles...random bible verses..."
And the original person says: "OK that may be your answer, but why should I believe you?"
Then yeah, we're seeing why we should believe you over everyone else.
Just posting what you believe doesn't validate it any more than my thoughts on unicorn migration through the tropics of Tolken's Middle-Earth.
It does me no good to say "evolution is true." I have to PROVE why evolution through natural selection is true and is the best answer.
You're not establishing why anyone should take you seriously other than the fact that you seem to have some thoughts on a book.
