Yea, that's the problem, Minnesota would be the team holding back the 3 way deal. I'm sure they still want to give a healthy Kevin Love another shot next year with a healthy Rubio.

With or without Dwight you have a bunch of cap room in 2014, but like we've both said, that 2014 FA class is way too overhyped.

Who knows tho, maybe Minnesota does what Utah did with Deron Williams and gets rid of Kevin Love earlier than expected and makes this LAL-BK-MN trade work. Doubt it, but the LAL and BK should be doing all they can to make it work.

Kevin Love is a way better fit with Nash, Kobe, and Pau if the objective is to win this or next season.

I want to win this year next year and 5 years from now. Out of those 3 SN, DH and PG only Dwight gives that chance. You can make a case for Pau can still be good for us. And you can find a way to get Dwight and Pau to coexist.

Nash I don't see it. Not because he's Terrible. He's not. He's still a great shooter and facilitator, but even with Love the team is way too old for Nash to contribute the way he needs to. And Nash's defensive liability is so big that he needs mostly young guys around

And Love doesn't make us much younger and defensively he's not Dwight. So Pau & KLove having to cover Nash is even worse.

I got blasted here early in the season when i said PGs will have field days when they see nash guarding them .. and there's not much of an upgrade from Ramon Session .. can't remember who but he said Nash will make up for it as they have to guard him on the offensive side..

Well.. watching CP3 literally toying with this dude was just painful to watch. Nash doesn't even look like it will take a lot to completely shut him down..

Well, that Clippers thrashing broke and pretty much defined our season.
They couldnt miss. Like shooting fish in a barrel.
Again, the Lakers take 2 steps back just when this month they were showing promise.

This game hopefully broke their spirit.
They should just coast and rest the remainder of the season, improve the bench and get healthy for next season.
I dont see them winning again realistically until the final game of the month against the Timberwolves.
And even thats still a toss up.

We screwed up royally last night not putting Kobe on CP3 (primary ballhandler) and having Nash on Billups who isn't a threat to blow by Nash every play.

Kobe was doin that off the ball, saggin on Paul tryin to be near by, only to have Paul skip pass it to Billups for wide open set 3 after wide open set 3.

Thing is, they probably figured they can't have Kobe chase Paul AND carry the offense as well. But at some point, adjust. Once it was down to 3, make the switch then and just keep it close into the second half.

Horrible game management once we got back in the game.

Another thing i don't get is How Dwight thinks he's getting to BK with no trade. In order to get him they would have to trade Humphries (On a One Year deal no problem), Trade Brook, ALL of their role players to sign dwight.

Btwn williams and Johnson alone= 37-40 mil
Wallace on for another 10 a year.
