Yep. I don’t want to say I’m an accountant lol. I’m a “revenue analyst”.

Edit: that’s more for myself than others though. I want to move away from accounting and toward sales and operations.
 
LinkedIn profiles are notorious for people dressing up their resumes by changing the job title and then using the most exotic words to define their role.
 
I’ll do it on my resume to embellish things a bit.

But in terms of everyday interactions with my friends. Hell no. My job doesn’t make my pay any more impressive so I’m not going to oversell the title to my friends.

This is something I don't want to do lol.
 
I do the opposite. Own my company and make all the decisions but tell people I’m just a manager. I’ve learned that your customers will test you to see what they can get away with or what discount they can get if they know they’re dealing directly with the boss. Much easier for me to just say, “I can’t make the decision on that let me discuss it with my boss and see what we can do” than to be put on the spot.
