some one here checked my shoes last time and told me they are real, and to me they look real also. But I heard that if the 4 on the 45 it’s a bit open on the top, it means that shoe is fake. Could it be a Nike manufacturing problem or what?

The '4' on the back of your pair is pretty parallel, except at the top. The left line on the '4' has a dot at the top that is a shifted a little bit more towards the left making it look more open, but hardly.
LC SJ45.JPG

The purple lines are all parallel to each other and they are lined up with the lines on the '4' very well. The '5' on top does look rounded though and it should be more straight. Those blue lines are parallel to each other and ideally the lines on the '5'' should match up but they don't. This could be because of the angle of the photo, the '45' is on a curved surface, and/or it could be a factory flaw.

This is a fake pair
SP back fakes.png

The red lines on the '4' are all parallel, but the right white stitching on the '4' does not match with them. So on this one it is a bit more open an the top by a millimeter then it should be because the stitching lines are not parallel on the '4'. The '5' on this pair is hardly curved, but it does seem to have a slight curvature.
Here are full picture of the '45' on a couple of fakes:

This fake pair does have dots on the left stitching of the '4' like yours.

This is an album of images of authentic Space Jams from people in NT, from the Space Jam thread:

None of these seem to have the dot on the '4' and the '5' looks pretty straight on all off these. This is just a small sample, a million pairs may have been produced so there will be a lot of differences between pairs. I am just stating what I see, I don't know if they are fake or real, I don't authenticate these.

Here is the full album of the fakes. I don't know any of the flaws that these fakes have, maybe someone can point out some flaws in these fakes, but I can't.

This one it’s the left pair, which it doesn’t have a dot. So idk if it just a manufacturer problem or what. Cause everything else matches with the real.

I'm still going to say legit and the stitching on the back being a factory flaw. They did make a ton of these for the 2016 release so factory flaws have to be out there along with the fact that Nike quality control is questionable at best and they let a lot of stuff pass through. The Travis Scott 4's are a great example of this with all the glue stains that are on retail pairs. The insole on these has the same markings as my retail pair and the size marking is also correct for your size jams. Glue pattern is the same on the bottom of the insole and the lace strap positions and widows peaks appear correct. The toe caps look good and the carbon fiber looks good as well. The inside tag on the tongue looks correct too which a lot of fakes get wrong. It typically appears sloppy on fakes with the stitching and sometimes they even get the lettering color wrong. The inside of the box looks legit also and is exactly how mine looks.

BTW, JRepp23 liked my comment on the last post in regard to these and he seems to know a ton about 11's so I'm assuming he thinks they are legit as well.

Thank you bro, I just can’t stand fakes and getting rip off. money doesn’t grow on trees and Jordan’s ain’t cheap lol. But thanks bro now I could feel good walking around with them.

I hear that brother. I'm on the OCD side and feel the same way and absolutely have to know because I can't stand fakes either. Like you said, J's aren't cheap. Paying top dollar for an authentic item & getting a fake would piss me off to no end. My Jams are still DS and I would have left them factory laced but seeing someone that needed help had me wanting to do whatever it took to find out so I unlaced both to pull the shoe trees & insoles so I could compare them to hopefully give better insight to these being real or fake. They matched up perfectly so I'm pretty confident in stating they are genuine.

Thanks bro, Another person saw my shoes and said they are real. I just wanna be 100% with this cause these are my first ever 11s. I just got the space jams and the concords lately. So im new when it comes to 11s lol.

Nice man. Those 2 are excellent choices when it comes to 11's. I had to have the Concords when they dropped. So much so that I doubled up. Anyway It's definitely nice to hear others say they real as well. I honestly found a lot more that looked real than fake with these. There is a lot of info online regarding real vs fake 11's. If you have time here & there I'd suggest checking it out and familiarize yourself with what to look for and what the fakes typically get wrong. I personally love 11's and they are unfortunately faked a lot so if it's a shoe you can see yourself purchasing more colorways of, you'll definitely want to know what to look for.

The bred's which are the most popular colorway ( aside from the Concords ) are releasing again in December so if you're looking for those at any point I'd suggest wating for December and trying for retail because those are probably the most faked 11 aside from maybe the Concord. Retail is obviously the best way to guarantee authenticity.

I have look at every info I could possibly look at for the space jams only the 45 was the only problem I encountered. And yea I was going to get 11s breds but I rather wait for the new ones. my only problem with the 11s is the patent leather it gets easily scuff or scratches. That’s why I never bother getting them, I always love the way they look especially the space jams but the patent leather it was kept me away from the shoe. But I gave them a chance and so far they are good.

Good call on waiting for the newer bred's. I always prefer to get a newer pair opposed to older considering shoes only last so long before they start to deteriorate or break down. Yeah the PL can scratch somewhat easily but I personally haven't had any issues with keeping them clean or scratch free and they no doubt look good with the right pants. I may even wear my Jams for my wedding. My fiancé didn't bat an eye at the idea when I mentioned it so I think I have the green light to do it.
