What is the proper way to wash jeans? Not raw denim, just some Levis. Haven't washed em since I bought em.

soak them in a tub or washing machine and let hang dry..

Looks pretty new for 7 mos

and for the sizing for apcs, it is recommended to size down 2 from your true waist size

Any places I can cop a nice pair of faded light wash jeans? Premium stuff preferred

I'm currently working my PRPS Rambler Raws but want something like their normal washes from years ago

Peps fail to tell what they do to get those fades. You have to be a nasty a MF to get those crazy fades.

Rule #1 is that they have to be skin tight. NS's are not that tight. Tighter the better. Why do think peps get blowouts, their denim are too tight.
Rule #2 wear them everyday single day. its better if you are an bike commuter.
Rule #3 washing depends on how active you are. The more active you are in the denim the sooner you can wash to get great fades. I hear folks going to the ocean or wearing them in the tub.
Rule #4 Friction against the denim causes fades. If you wear them in your car to an office job everyday is not the same as someone that dont have a car and bikes everywhere. Most peps that have great fades have only one pair of denim.

Ahh, that clears a lot up

Actually I think the mistake most people make is looking at the tagged size ad not the actual measurements and think that by buying a pair with a tagged size 2 below their usual size they are actually getting a pair that is 2 inches smaller in the waist. MOST APCs except pcs I think measure 2 sizes below the tagged size. A tagged 30 measures at 32. So when you "size down 2" you are actually not sizing down at all.

That too.

Speaking of APCs...I bought my first pair of APCs in 2008/2009 (forgot which year exactly) for $145...My new pair cost me $180 :{ :lol Come on, inflation can't make the price go up THAT much.

Hype can.

Breaking out my Petit Standards for the first time in like two months. Hot soaked those things and man they got tight on the thighs :{

Thinking about copping another pair one size up though, I just love APCs for some reason

Hey guys. I'm looking to get my first pair of raw denim. I'm a bigger guy (5'10 about 190ish) Are there any brands you recommend that would fit someone with big thighs?
