Denver decriminalizes 'magic mushrooms'

Yeah LSD will do that

My first trip started out okay, then went South real quick, and I kept telling my boy I just want to go home and sleep this off.

He was like "bro you are NOT going to sleep anytime soon."

Basically all of my psychological problems bubbled up to the surface and I had to deal with them one at a time  afterwords though it was pure liberation and happiness. Like tear inducing happiness

The single most incredible and enlightening experience I've ever had.
Keep hearing this, sounds both enlightening and scary.

I live in Denver and there is about 10 weed shops around my apartment and them ****s be packed. The first time I got high, I was 25 and did two dabs and that was it for me. I may try shrooms if I had a wife around to pipe once it kicks in tho.

Something nobody talks about regarding psychedelics is the need to have someone with you to help guide you through the experience and talk you down if need be. Can't be doing that **** with randoms.

I would have had a full on panic attack and probably caused a YouTube incident if my boy wasn't talking sense to me.

Funnily enough that man was tripping on a much higher dose than me and talking about all kinds of crazy **** but it all made absolute sense and my brain not only applied his words to my potential bad trip, but to my overall life as a whole.

Because of the LSD there was this powerful impression that God Himself was speaking through my friend and giving me some quick gems while He could before the drugs wore off. That's just how it felt to me. Like every piece of advice he gave me regarding dealing with an acid trip, also applied to life as a whole.

Mentally it was like a state where I was literally "higher" than the normal levels of baseline human consciousness and as such, I was able to perceive and receive things that I couldn't otherwise.

**** is really crazy and yes can be scary.

They say you should have a babysitter during your first time but I didn't. I've also never had a bad trip either.

Everyone responds differently.

Still haven't heard anything about where to buy...

I think it will take time before you see them in stores bruh.

Weed in MA was decriminalized in 2016 and the first recreational retail spots didn't start popping up until late last year.

Gon be a lot of paperwork and chasin' your tail to get a retail spot open

As I read it, it was only the decriminalization of the mushrooms and not legality as it relates to commercially being able to obtain it in a store, etc.

Imagine a country full of people who drink, smoke and trip balls...behind the wheels of their cars? Terrifying.

It's still illegal to do that... or smoke in public for that matter. People here can't drive worth a **** anyway, always trying to merge into the highway at 45 when they give you a whole football field length to accelerate. Really pisses me off.

Not too sure what you are trying to get at with this comment.

Not really trying to get at anything profound. Just that the use of what used to be illicit substances has seemed to have gotten a little "looser" quickly over the past couple years. And all I can think of is how many people actually have the wherewithal to not get behind the wheel as they venture into recreational use and are unaware of their limits.

But if you have a specific question on my politics, feel free. Because I'm all for recreational use. I'm essentially skeptical of the discretion of some people as it becomes a little bit of a free for all.

There will be a learning period where people will abuse it or use it unaware of how if affects them. Much like how there was a huge influx of people eating pot edibles and going to the hospital thinking they were dying.
Most things boil down to education and if in the process of decriminalizing things people are taught what to expect things will be alright

I was handing out edibles (gummies) to random folks over the weekend and was amazed at how many people would just reach in the bag and pop them without asking questions or anything

They were nothing crazy. Like 5MG gummies that give you a nice body high. I don't smoke but I get a lot of stuff for free and grow a little. Gave some to my friends and they let me know the effect, so I spread the cheer
