Well they are bringing gear infusion back for D2 (as confirmed in the beta when you check the perks of your armor and weapons), which will build off of the "farming improvements" from the later half of D1. At least we won't be grinding until "Forever 10 below max" like we had to suffer for early D1.

Is the exotic drop during the opening missions random or does each class get their own? My boy said he got a hand cannon as a hunter. I ended up with a weak *** auto rifle as a warlock lol.

Yeah, it is different for each class.
But the starting weapons for each class is different as well. For instance, Hunters start out with an Auto, SMG, and hand cannon in the kinetic slot.
Other classes get either a pulse rifle or scout rifle in their kinetic slots (**** sakes, why do they get the pulses? Did I mention I miss my Hawksaw?)

Servers are pretty bad right now, but I enjoyed what I played earlier! Hoping to hear of some easter eggs you know Bungie threw in the Beta.

Played for a couple hours today and some of my general thoughts.
Fun even though it feels exactly like D1. The strike was really cool even though the boss was almost like an Atheon reskin. Amazed at how large the strike was too. We were able to explore a huge area without the game pulling anyone forward. I was hoping there would be more perks and abilities to play around with. The submachine gun stinks, but I kinda dig the current weapons set up. Game looks amazing and I'm all in for the full version. I'll get into pvp tomorrow.

Yeah, b/c that is what it is intended for. It is basically an upgraded version of Trials/Elimination mode from D1, I pretty much got the gist of it back when they did the D2 reveal originally.
No way you doing countdown by yourself with randos unless you wanna get PUB STOMPED into oblivion.

you gonna show me the way later tonight ?i gave up on the game waay to early it seems like for the first one. i reached rank 24 and was tied of farming that one spot. Ive read up on Trials and seemed like that would of been my goto since its competitive if i would of stuck it out.
hopefully i can get into this one. i can carry my weight normally in gun games

i gave up on the game waay to early it seems like for the first one. i reached rank 24 and was tied of farming that one spot. Ive read up on Trials and seemed like that would of been my goto since its competitive if i would of stuck it out.
hopefully i can get into this one. i can carry my weight normally in gun games

grabbed a Ps4 earlier this year for MLB The Show when it released. Figured id give a gun game a try on Ps4 instead of xbox, If i really enjoy it and can rock with some ppl on the daily ill cop no problem for Ps4.
Still got my xbox for 2k tho since majority of the homies on that console for pro-am

The beta is dope! Everything looks better, sounds better and plays better. I like the menu screens too, although similar to Destiny they made font smaller and bolder, and tighten up some areas. Im loving the 4 v 4 crucible too, its more engaging.
