Game is pretty much dead right now ....dont think I'm copping future DLC unless Jr. wanna continue.

The fact there some have not even attempted the raid, nightfalls, or any PVP but still got 3 characters at 305 was that nail in the coffin. :{

How did 2K become more of a grind than Destiny?

Lets see if casual gamers purchase the DLC.

The funny thing is, with how underwhelming D2 has been in a lot of aspects, I enjoyed the Leviathan raid. Real talk. Never bought Rise of Iron, so I didn't play that raid, but I enjoyed the new raid more than Crota and Oryx.

Nothing will compare to the first time I beat Atheon though. I remember building the spires and getting so hype when that vault finally opened. Shooting out the oracles, taking out the Templar's shield to melt it, sneaking by those Gorgon's, jumping the disappearing platforms, snatching those relics from the gatekeepers, then getting teleported and making those clutch call outs with Atheon. When that boy finally drop and you jump over to go pick up that... nothing. (Got chatterwhite doe.) :hat

Stepping out with raid gear and flexing my light level after beating VOG. :hat Players couldn't get to 29-30 by doing public events. Then going into IB and having an advantage for the grind. It got me hype for the next raids. Right now, I honestly don't even care. Destiny is still fun running it with friends, but it's a glorified Mario Kart now.

Less than 18% of the community has cleared the D2 raid. And this is with them adding the clan features AND guided games. They added features to make it more accessible to play, but gave us zero reason to run it.

honestly they need to go back to the old destiny and make the raid give higher light gear than any other events. Maybe let IB give that gear also.

All this we want everyone to enjoy destiny and be 305 light thing actually did the opposite as hardcore gamers leave cause there are tons of other games to play the casuals will leave also cause they will follow the hype. There really made a hard mode that well has NO POINT GAME WISE OF DOING.

I personally will not do the hard mode raid mostly because its to much work for no reward at all. just some purple armor and emblem i'm good B. People play cause its fun, but part of the fun was getting something in scale for the the effort.

Since, destiny basically said your pretty much done till next expansion then i will stay just running things with my friends like night falls and pub events the community aspect is all that makes it fun at this point.

Our fire team has had the same discussion and without the fact that we run as a group is the only thing that keeps us coming back. If I had to LFG the raids every week, and yes I did this a few times after AOT and it was extremely hit or miss, if quit the game. The hard content is impossible or too damned frustrating to do with 90% of people that play this game.

Like someone mentioned, I want to see if the casuals buy the DLC. Because I seriously have my doubts. They are going to move onto COD, BF, or some other random franchise they like. But the fact that you are alienating your core base that mostly stayed around for three years due to a mix of gun play, fire teams, the RPG grind, and the other randomness that was part of D1 and you dumb down and water down 90% of what I listed above. People will just move onto other RPGs or other games of the sort. The FPS crowd will only help them out so much. It was the RPG that addicted most people and they fail to realize that.

I just can’t believe that someone in those meetings didn’t have this foresight as the game was being visualized, planned, and developed.

D2's casual console player base will dramatically drop once Super Mario Odyssey drops next week, just you watch

Then I expect the #PCMasterRace to follow suit a week later after they finish the campaign and raids, so that they are at the same spot as the rest of us

I have barely played at all for the last 2 weeks, but I still feel like I got my money's worth with the game

yall know me and my aesthetics bruvs

I got on and joined my boys around 10pm who were at callus and had some one drop from the team Tried 3 times and was fed up.

This **** not the business b. at all

they need to drop the casual fun concept for the next DLC and change it up quite a bit. This isn't fun at all the raid is honestly pointless i have friends 305 that have never attempted (though skilled enough) and will probably never do it because if they are already 305 whats the point.

Sometimes that GAWD level is what makes people strive GAWD roles and GAWD perks. yes being 315 while everyone is 305 does matter. Then you will want to make your guns 315 so you grind more. That's what makes it addicting the chase for one more hit. If you tell me imma have it all upfront with no work then whats the point.

DLC better change up a lot or the only reason i will buy is to play with friends if they are out then so am i. Next week maybe back on overwatcth.

At this point Bungie needs to be very transparent about their plans for this franchise. They need to really figure out what kind of game they are trying to push and who exactly it is they are trying to cater to, because this identity crisis they are having is really deteriorating their fanbase. They can't be everything to everybody and for the sake of their franchise they need to pick a side and really stick to it. Contrary to what I said in my earlier post tho, I will give them a chance to respond to all the harsh criticisms(which IMO are fully justified) and I'm only doing it to show support based off the dope experiences I had while playing D1. I got one DLC left, if fundamental changes aren't made to appeal to those of us who played this game since vanilla D1 then my copy is going up on ebay for like $10. LMAO

Real talk, I'll take OP broken crucible weapons, LFG raid requirements, the feeling of being forever 29 and grinding for planetary mats over this neutered version of a game that we call D2 anyday. It's not even close. LOL.

I love D2, but damn there just isn't much to do now. No real reason to grind to 305, weekly milestones are pointless now, etc.

I WILL be doing the Prestige Raid but it's awful there isn't more of an incentive to do so.

The same casuals you're trying to appeal to Bungie will be jumping ship once the next hot game comes out. Bravo.

Thought youd ppl would appreciate this. Just got crota today

I don't think they wanted Destiny to be popping that long in the first place hence why they made it the way they did.

You guys have to remember COD is coming back strong this year and they probably didn't want it to compete with COD.

So that is actually a good business move on their end. Make D2 enjoyable for a month or two then COD drops and that is enjoyable until around Jan-Feb and then drop the DLC for D2 where you give the fanbase what they've been asking for.

Xur is selling the Sweet Business this week. Finally I can pair it with the Actium War Rig :hat.

If y'all haven't noticed that Xur always sells heat during slow times.

yeah what's good with trials? :lol

I am hearing that it is 4v4 without gear stats?

House of wolves days > *

I am not counting Bungie out AT ALL though cause they gonna come with some funk on the DLCs and whatever other DLCs. I don't know why they make the choices they do or understand the timing of it all but they deliver IMO
