@GeNeRaTiOnZ ive seen ppl on bungie.net saying that they have had the ballerhorn drop from the first chest. I still having ventured into the raid(other than that first chest.) Any of you guys running late tonite? Or doing Nightfall? I finally got an alt to 20 to do the nightfall/weekley on 2

@jbc908 scored the Dragon's Breath launcher from that first chest, the first day of the DLC I believe. Someone else on here got it from the nightfall as well.

after this update can you still get the first chest from Crotas End solo?

The hotfix didn't say anything about changes to the raid aside from the gear.

I'm just gonna assume that next week they will have a patch due to the many glitches in the raid so far.

I wouldn't be shocked if it occurs even sometime later this week. But definitely by next Tuesday. Bungie was smart, they are allowing people to find glitches and exploits on normal. So when HM comes out all those exploits will be patched out. People really should learn the fights legit because it will end.

Not sure who else was running with TST when they cleared it last night (Based, Besu, Quad, Deph, Beignet), but I know 430 was with them.

There are probably a few others that I have missed that have cleared him already as well.

My strategy is straight but not fast enough. Had him down to a quarter health and he enraged and it was all over at that point

Before we downed him the first time, he got enraged on us.....they basically made this **** impossible to even come close to beating while enraged

Knights and Ogres all over and that green eye that you have to kill behind him constantly spawns so you will never do damage to everything in enough time.

Before we downed him the first time, he got enraged on us.....they basically made this **** impossible to even come close to beating while enraged

Honestly tried it but it's kinda pointless.

The whole raid is glitched.

When we used the chalice we didn't even have to hold it to get health. Just be close to the person who has it.

But no one on my squad took damage except for the sword bearer

Edit: we had great comms

I don't need the chalice at all. Best to do it with at least 1 Warlock and 1 Titan. We can kill him in a few minutes. like 3-4 kneels.

Man it was crazy to watch Crota kill him so far away with the swing animation!

Zero raging was hilarious in itself too

But then the frustration set in once it happened again.

One time, he had even jumped off the side on to those rocks on the side and Crota hit him down there!

He hit me when I was well off his damn platform. My res bubble was on the ground by the coffin on the ground in front of his platform and the Chalice was in mid-air. That junk made me so mad...

You want to get at least 2 kneels in each sword. U need a strong rocket launcher with tracking is easiest. It's even better when he isn't on the sides, if he is center the sword is close to him.

Crota has many more moving parts for the final boss compared to VOG final boss. Both are fun and require team coordianations.

It's best to have one person concentrating on the Boomers with an Ice Breaker. Everyone else Sword bearer.
