Weekly Nightfall Strike  is:

Fallen S.A.B.E.R  with the modifiers of:

  • Epic  (Lots of heavy shielded and aggressive enemies)

  • Arc Burn  (Arc Burn increased)

  • Match Game  (Resistant to unmatched Elemental damage)

  • Catapult  (Faster grenades)

  • Exposure  (Lots of armor, slow armor regen time)

  • Taken are attacking the Warsat on the NF. Dropships aren't a problem.

I finally leveled up a decent hand cannon that I received as a reward at the end of a quest.

It is called Down and Doubt-00 (Vanguard skinned Omolon weapon)

Third Eye

Single Point Sling / Smallbore

Firefly / handling & stability gets better as health gets lower perk

It was doing good for me last night on quests. I might try it out in Crucible sometime eventually as well, but not in IB. I am sure Iron Banner is going to be all about Red Death, Bad Juju, Hawkmoon
 
my goal for this week is going to do a bat swing after every single kill in IB :smile:

You just need to jump into a fire team with someone who has already completed the Taken War missions. They'll have the necessary missions to unlock final section for the quest line.
They still have to be on the quest as well too though right? Or just have them start one of the missions towards the end that skips you past everything?
 
Found it: 
Step 1: Make sure you have Taken War: Earth and Venus in your quest log. (Just need to have it even if nothing was done in them) Edit: (A friend just confirmed that you don't even need these in your quest log but if you have them just move on to the next step)

Step 2: Join a friend's game that has done Phobos "Fear's Embrace" and join him/her. Finish that mission. (We joined a friend that already completed the entire questline and had access to all the missions)

Step 3: Go back to the tower and you should have access to "Blighted Worlds" from Eris now.

Step 4: Go join your friend again and complete "Kings of Decay" on Earth which is the last mission on Taken War: Earth.

Step 5: Go join your friend again and complete "Entropy's Pinnacle" on Venus which is the last mission on Taken War: Venus.

Step 6: Go to the tower and you should now have access to the first part of Road to King's Fall from Eris.

Step 7: Complete "Summoner's Circle" on the Dreadnaught and then go turn it in to Eris for the final raid quest for the 310 Artifact.

That's it, you're done in just 4 missions on any alts you may still have left to get it on. Just to reiterate, this is the way my friends and I did it. There may be other ways to achieve the same effect. Good luck out there guardians.

Edit: Doing this gives you "Road to King's Fall" which is the raid quest to beat the raid bosses to receive your 310 artifact.

Edit2: A lot of people seem to be confusing The Road to King’s Fall  quest with The Old Hunger  quest. The Old Hunger quest is for the Touch of Malice questline and doesn’t reward you with a 310 artifact.

Also, skipping the taken war quests doesn’t bug out the game or anything and you can always go back and redo the first quests of each questline for the legendary marks if you want to.
 
Its crazy because when i did it i only had to do step 2 and 7. Later when other friends tried it they had to do all steps.
 
Just transferred from Xbox 360 to Xbox one. I'm up to run IB with some of y'all. Add my Gt: Sidman107. Will be playing heavy after I get home from work.
 
So being lower by 20-30 light levels than your opponent will only reduce damage done by 5-10%. Not much of a difference. I assume that they are trying to appease the casuals.
 
depends on what character your running as and quests you've picked up along the way but honestly a whole bunch of nothing, except the opportunity to get the sword imo

Weapons

Fixed an issue in which Rare Sniper Rifle scope upgrades did not correctly show progress
Fixed an issue in which activating the "Eye of the Storm" perk was not using correct feedback when readying - weapon
Fixed an issue in which the “Second Wind” perk was incorrectly applying on the initial spawn

Armor

Players can now reroll Stat nodes and Upgrade nodes on Exotic armor via the “Twist Fate” node

Twist Fate will require Glimmer, Armor materials, and a Glass Needle, which will be available from Xur during his weekly visits

Exotics

Fixed an issue where No Back Up Plans did not consistently trigger Force Barrier on Shotgun kills
Fixed an issue where the “Air Traffic Control” perk on Taikonaut Helm did not properly increase heavy ammo drop rate with a Rocket Launcher equipped
Smoke Bombs used with Sealed Ahamkara Grasps no longer costs two charges

Quests & Bounties

Fixed an issue where Hunter and Warlock class level-up quests were not giving rewards for the correct level
Fixed an issue with some Year 1 Exotic Bounty items that were causing lingering waypoints to remain over various NPCs
Fixed several issues where some bounties were not correctly requiring players to complete Court of Oryx encounters within the stated time on the issued bounty
Affected Bounties: "Challenge the Court: Reciprocal Rune", "Challenge the Court: Stolen Rune," "Challenge the Court: Antiquated Rune"
Fixed an issue where some Vanguard bounties were incorrectly granting credit across entire Fireteams

Strikes

Weekly Heroic Playlist now shows how many Weekly Bonus Legendary Mark awards remain
Fixed an issue where players were not transitioning to Return to Orbit upon Phogoth's death

Raid: King's Fall

Increased the number of potential Shards and added additional materials in the first King's Fall chest
Blighted Light explosion size has been changed to encompass the entire Arena

Crucible
General

Shaxx's Weekly Bounties now unlock across all characters after completing the Crucible Questline on one character
Damage curves have been adjusted for all power-enabled playlists to account for the new Light levels in Year 2 Distinct audio cues have been created for teammate and enemy revives Weekly Crucible bounty "Featured Matches" now properly progresses in weekly featured playlists in addition to daily featured playlists Weekly Crucible bounties "Featured Matches" and "Making an Impact" now also count top 3 finishes in Rumble as wins, to be consistent with other Crucible quest and bounty steps "Hold the Line" bounty now only requires being near only one of your teammates (instead of two) Fixed an issue where the "Largest Multi-Kill" stat on the Mayhem scoreboard did not accumulate correctly
