Dictatorship?

Do you think it would really be that bad??  Here is the hypothetical:
1.  He/She is elected by votes (normal process, but do away with electoral college bs)

2.  It is for the same period, 4 years

3.  Can't change any rules about staying in power etc.

4.  Will have a basic 'moralistic' set of rules must abide by not to get impeached (ie can't just go to war randomly, let all murders walk free etc)

5.  There would be a 'cabinet' of 10 advisors or wtv that has veto power but has to vote 7/10 to veto anything.  These are also chosen by the people.

*Blind vote, no names attached to the advisors (people have to come to voting booth and read a fact/bio/background etc about each of the candidates and then vote)

However, would basically have free reign over everything.  There would be no need to vote for this/that etc in the Senate.  Ultimate power.

I think it could be better.  The problem with fixing a country and getting it on the right path is there is truly no real power to get anything completely done.  Can't overhaul health, education, transportation, anything major in this country because of the million roadblocks to getting it done.  Thus, even when things are done terribly and bureaucratically they continue to exist.

having absolute power indicates that you can pretty much scratch off conditions 3, 4, and 5.

Who is a real dictator? Someone who has an agency spying on individuals cell phones, emails, medical records, financial records under the guise for "safety"? Having that same agency telling people "see something, say something!" like the old Soviet Union? Stealing money out of peoples pay checks and give it to their Corporate friends, foreign Central Bank cartels, and redistribution? Someone who sends young men and women overseas to terrorize men, women, and children? Someone who rounds up people in foreign lands, kidnaps them, only to torture them? Would that constitute a real dictator?

Just because nobody is being "offed" doesn't mean speech isn't being controlled. Aren't you under the impression the our government wants to control the internet?
