I've always wondered about the subliminal entendres and such.

Dre 3000:

Outkas wit a K, yeah them $+%+@$ are hard
Harder than a +#!%% trying to impress God
We'll pull your're whole deck, %%%! pulling your card
And still take my guitar and take a walk in the park
Any play the sweetest melody the street ever heard
Now **%%$#+ sucking on my nouns and I'm eating their verbs
Get full, and $+%+@$, $+%+@$,
pop, pop, lock, lock to the, to the beat, beat
As if pitbulls went out of style, made a vow to myself
If it's for the wealth i'll stop, well put i like this
It's like me selling some dope because my girlfriend wants to shop
Wrong reason, whatever the season, hey winter, spring, summer or fall
I dont stall, slow drag wit your brain against the wall
Yeah, +#!%% naw, we learn to the side don't fall
All y'all %%%! boys, tuck toys inside your pants
Just to pull it out, point it at the ground and make a +#!%% wanna dance
Now what that be for, you're on that reefer and on that Tupac
In front of them oooh wops, trying to show out, that's the +$# route
Talking loud talking bout that's gangsta %%+$

I saw a lot of references to Dmx's style, flow, even a few Belly references.

(All y'all %%%! boys, tuck toys inside your pants--
Just to pull it out, point it at the ground and make a +#!%% wanna dance )

If I'm reaching about anything it's about this.

I don't think I'm reaching because the whole album is full of industry disses. Red Velvet* is basically a Cash Money diss track imo.
*Correction* my mind slipped.

aside from the pitbull line, "you're on that reefer and on that tupac" is the only thing that caught my eye but I dont know.

Look at any of X's albums' track list.

Obvious.

Get full, and $%*@!%, $%*@!%,
pop, pop, lock, lock to the, to the beat, beat

His flow?

You can't tell me these are not directed at DMX.
1. How is X tryna impress God?
2. When anyone tries to diss a rapper and say they're fake gangsta they always say "Tryna be 2pac" or something of that nature.
3. +$$# you talking bout shorty?

agree with OP you guys are soo narrow minded......ms jackson was CLEARLY a diss track to 50 cent n his baby moms

didnt he dedicate an entire diss track to kanye's girl?

edit :

This thread fails but the jokes like the one above ^ make op look alot better. %+$@%# is mad corny

"The Convo"

Flesh of my Flesh...:

The Omen
Ready to Meet Him/Prayer II

...And Then there was X:

"Prayer III"

7 "Angel"

The Great Depression:

"The Prayer IV" (outro skit) - 1:42

Come on dude. You gotta scratch the surface. This is why I feel we still talk about hip hop from that era, Outkast has been around as long as any of thesedudes.

Dungeon Fam goes deep, Outkast is only the surface.

Ok, don't say I didn't tell you so.

I bet you dudes also think Rosa Parks was about an old lady sitting at the back of the bus. I don't see how you can see Jay's dumbed down entendres andact like savants but fail to see deeper stuff. Come on.

wwsindicate you definitely have a point with the impressing God line, that $%$@ is clear as day.
