hmm.. if they had not pulled that stunt.. MTV would've had .. Jay-Z.. Alicia.. Taylor Swift.. T Pain.. for halftime hmmmm.. could've gone both directions IMO.

I thought the Who was decent during halftime. Yea they are old, but their songs are classics and still good today.

Honestly I love all these bands the who, springsteen. But I dont know I dont think the superbowl halftime is the place to showcase them. Damn you JT

Agreed, but they were formed in the early 60s and reached their prime in the 70s. Their songs will stand the test of time but there is absolutely no need for them to be given the biggest concert in terms of VIEWERS, in the year 2010. It just doesn't make sense. I am not by any means promoting a return to the crap that is being played on most radios right now, but they likely had dozens upon dozens of better options they could have gone that would have been received better by the public.
Don't get me wrong though, I'm a big fan of The Who.
