That's the point. I have no desire or interest right now to learn the stuff I'm being taught, meet anyone or do anything I'm subjected to. I'm not learning anything pertinent to my major in college (business/entrepreneurship) and I have no interest in chilling/hanging/partying, etc. I was chilling hard with friends at the beginning of the year but now I'm annoyed at myself because I feel like that was so much time wasted.

Right now the only interests I have are software/internet entrepreneurship and working out. Nothing else matters to me and I don't want to do anything else. Whenever I go to school every day I feel like it's really not helping me out yet I have to do it... but from what I hear that's just the way it is.

I'm not depressed or angry by any means, but I am bored out of my mind, and my slow life in general is really starting to bore me out. I don't find anything exciting any more. Sports, reading, hanging out, video games, meeting new people, all that stuff I've been doing lately is making me brain dead. I've lost the desire to try anything new and everything old is so boring doing it makes me want to throw up.

The only thing I look forward to every day is driving and I can barely do that because I don't have money for gas. So I wake up, go to school, come home, study and sleep with a workout every other day. That's the extent of my life and honestly I feel like an idiot zombie right now.

Anyone else feel like this? Like damn I just want to take a nap for a week

What are you doing that limits you from still doing that though?

For me, my life opened up once I finished college. I had money to actually do fun things instead of the "broke student" stuff I did in school.  I've had more fun, met more people, and gone more places in the two years after college then I did while there.

i kinda feel the same way. school is such a +#%*$$ boring cycle.
im not a very loud person and im not friends with the majority of my class.
im going to college for bussiness next yr and nothing i do at school is relevant
me n my friends make !%#@ happen on the weekends so that is a good change of pace but
tbh i look to the future and all i see is an even worse cycle post college.

i concur bro. i just started a new school and it sucks absolute balls here. im from a relatively big city and this place im at has 2 restaurants and a liquor store..

Considering we're both seniors, the monotony of waking up every dam morning is starting to get to me as well, especially in this second semester. Class from 7-3 every dam day doing the same dam thing and I cannot wait for some spontaneity to kick back into my life. College is going to be something different as I get to move away from home (I hope...) and start living independent. It'll be different, but different is welcomed at this point.

Fridays are the only good days for me now, because weekends I'm preoccupied with more dam WORK!!! Getting gray hairs already

For real. Exactly the same way I feel.

Except I can't just sit back. I'm not very confident in my college process so I have to max out my GPA now in the event that I want to transfer. I severely overestimated my value and now I'm feeling the reality.

get a part time job doing something you never thought you'd do...

but stay away from anything that keeps you inside and around the same people...

it gets you out and now you have money to spend...

two birds, one stone...

This is why I want a career I will enjoy, so I don't feel like stabbing myself every morning because my occupation is boring as hell.

That's part of your problem right there. Nothing should ever make you say that, especially not a damn admissions committee. I've been thru the HS rat-race so I understand you wanna work hard so you'll have options but being a well-rounded and passionate person will serve you so much better in life than just about any degree.  This is the time to try new things and find out what makes you tick.

And get some.

sounds like a simple case of senioritis, though, losing interest in things you had previously considered fun/interesting sounds problematic. i would encourage you to speak to someone about this if your unhealthy attitude towards life doesn't change soon. life can seem monotonous at times, but it's ones passions that make it worth while.
