Direct TV

Did for me...I'll never go back to using a satellite again.

They got some of the most unprofessional installers/repairmen as well. Horrible company.

So pleased w/ FiOS.

fios isn't satellite?

On the contrary, my DirecTV never goes out in the rain (I've had it for over 10 years) and I find their customer service to be top-notch AAA quality. I live in California, by the way.

The person who installed mine was great. Went out of his way to make sure I way happy with it. Mine only goes out in the worst storms, just regular ol rain doesnt do anything to it.

Mine went out with regular rain called and they sent a tech and they fixed it for me. Wish fios was around my way tho

My satellite goes out during heavy thunderstorms. I've always had A+++ experience with DirecTv's customer service.

If you don't have DirecTV, you might as well have nothing at all.

Directv is the @#%$,

.

HD channel selection is awesome, customer service is top notch, swing solid deals with Sunday Ticket.

I live in SoCal so i don't deal with bad weather issues *shrugs*.  Any issue I've had, they seem to be on top of it.

Dude that installed my @#%$, hooked me up with HDMI cables, so he gets a...

Wish they offered internet, I was looking to bounce from Time Warner and looked into Verizon: Not offered in my area.  What kind of @#%$ show company does that... so yeah, not a Verizon fan.

If you're thinking of getting Direct TV send me a message; they've got a referral program that will credit you 100 on top of whatever deal you were already going to sign up for.

FiOS young man.

When I had DTV it very rarely went out..Only if it was a severe thunderstorm and then it'd only be out briefly..My Time Warner on the other hand never goes out when it rains, but it always has glitches and I have to reboot the box atleast 3/4 times per week..The guide always freezes up and the HD channels on TWC is always going out..God I hate time warner so bad..Only reason I left DTV is cause our new apartment manager banned satellite dishes..

Me too, I LOVE DirectTV and I HATE Comcast. I use Comcast for internet and they are complete idiots.

One guys was supposed to "update" my routers and he shut my internet off. I called Comcast and after 7 phone calls (yes I kept tracked because I was so pist off) we finally schedule an appointment for the next morning.

By the third call they offer a $20 credit if someone didn't come that same day. He never came. We never got the $20 credit.

The last guy we talked to tried to pass off as his manager because he didn't want to give me his employee number or name.

I live in so cal so it doesn't even rain hard enough for the signal to go out so i can't comment on that. Overall Directv is great, no complaints from me.

From my experience, wind does more bad than rain does as far as the signal going out.

It has to be really bad for it to go out from rain.

Been a Directv customer 10+ years and I'll tell ya a secret. The quality of your signal depends mostly on your installer. Every time a tech came in the afternoon or in hot weather I wound up having to have them come back out and fix it again.

I don't think mine has ever gone out.

It got a little twitchy about a week ago during a rain storm but it went away quickly.

No complaints at all about the actual television service though. Mine never went out but I had it when I was living in southern CA = no rain
